Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep. It does involve the induction of a trance-like condition, but when in it, the client is actually in an enhanced state of awareness, concentrating entirely on the hypnotist’s voice. In this state, the conscious mind is suppressed and the subconscious mind is revealed. The therapist is able to suggest ideas, concepts and lifestyle adaptations to the client, the seeds of which become firmly planted.
Total neurological tapping (TNT) will be used in conjunction with hypnotherapy. TNT is what we call an open eye procedure. It can be used for all manner or Fear's and Phobia's removal. It will some times also be used to help stop a specific negative actions or habbits. TNT can also be used to enhance a postive outcome, such as in sports.
Psychotherapy is a type of therapy used to treat emotional problems and mental health conditions.
It involves talking to a trained therapist, either one-to-one, in a group or with your wife, husband, partner, parent, guardian or friend. It allows you to look deeper into your problems and worries, and deal with troublesome habits and a wide range of mental disorders.
Neuro-Liguistic Programming (NLP) and more traditional coaching could be used in all sorts of scenarios. A good example is when we have been approached to help with someone not making the desired progress in their life. In many cases therapy is not needed, but focussed coaching and support helps to deliver the outcome wanted.
